Popovers

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs

Everything should be at room temperature.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Butter popover cups, and then dust with sugar and flour.

Mix butter, flour, salt, and milk. Add eggs; one at a time while mixing. Mixture should be no heavier than whipping cream.

Fill popover cups ¾ full. Bake at once at 450 degrees. After 15 minutes, lower heat to 350 degrees and bake 20 minutes longer.
