• 4 c flour
  • 1/2 t salt
  • ½ pound margarine
  • ½ c sour cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 package yeast

Mix flour, yeast and salt. Blend in with fingers, margarine. Mix in egg yolks with fork, add sour cream and vanilla. Blend this in by hand and refrigerate dough. This should feel like pie crust.

Filling: beat 3 egg whites till stiff. Beat in gradually 5 to 6 T of sugar. Add 1/3 c of chopped pecans.

Divide dough into 8 sections. Roll out dough as thin as possible in a circle. Cut in triangles, put a spoonful of filling on each triangle and roll up into a triangle. Bake 350˚ about 10-15 minutes.

Make a powder sugar and milk frosting. Frost cookie when warm.
