Peppermint Bark

This one is even easier!

  • 1 lb. of white chocolate block or equivalent of white chocolate chips
  • 25 peppermints (or mini candy canes)

Line a cookie sheet with waxed paper. Take approximately 1 lb. of white chocolate block or equivalent of white chocolate chips

If using block chocolate, chop coarsely

Put in microwavable dish and melt in microwave, stirring frequently

While melting, unwrap about 25 peppermints (red or green or a combination) you can also use candy canes

Put in a zip lock back and crush fine. (This is a good way to work out your frustrations! A rolling pin works well. I’ve also whacked them with a small heavy skillet…)

When chocolate is melted, stir in the candy

Pour out onto waxed paper, spread thin

Cool and then peel off paper and break into chunks

Enjoy!
